Kardiac Kids NHRA Racing Team
Competing in drag races over the past forty years, Larry Dobbs has become a mechanical genus of the internal combustion engine. WIth an Engineering Degree, the veteran has worked for General Motors for as long as he has been drag racing. As a true innovator of the sport of drag racing Larry has competed in several different classes on both the NHRA and IHRA tours, setting Supercharged Funny Car, cementing himself as one of Canada's top drivers, tuners and teachers.
Larry and Crew Chief Fred won two Canadian Championships through the eighties, but it was 1990 that put the Kardiac Kids on the map running on the NHRA circuit. Qualifying #3 at the SUMMERNATIONALS, and advancing to several semi-finals throughout the year the team finished decent in points despite a limited schedule. The team also had a runner-up finish at the IHRA Empire Nationals leading to the full 12 event IHRA tour in 1991.
For the first time ever this team possesses the best motors and equipment possible, and this advent in their racing careers is promising big results in the 2012 racing season.

LARRY DOBBS The original Kardiac Kid, Larry Dobbs is viewed as a Canadian Drag Racing legend. His name is synonymous with ingenuity and resilience. Over the past forty years Larry has evolved through many engine manufactures, sizes, and induction systems earning him the title as a true master of the internal combustion engine. Larry's notoriety in the industry stems from decades of dedication to his sport, and the incredible sportsman that he is to his competitors. We are proud to have Larry as part of the Napier family, and still get excited every time he heads out for a race! |

MARK RODGERS Mark's inaugural season with the Kardiac Kids Racing Team is 2012. After racing several seasons throughout the south in various series Mark showed great interest last season in joining our team to compete withing the Nations top drag racing series. As the 2012 season progresses we are excited to have Mark as an addition to the team, and more excited to his racing talent showcased in the Kardiac Kids team car.
