Napier Enterprises began working with Automotive Manufacturers (OEMs) to produce specific products for their vehicles. In 2001, General Motors launched the Pontiac Aztek with a vehicle tent to promote active outdoor lifestyles.

After the significant success of the Aztek with camping package, including a featured as a challenge prize on the TV show Survivor, Napier Enterprises was approached by other OEMs who wanted to add the unique tents to their accessory lines.



Napier Enterprises currently supplies Vehicle Camping Tents to the following OEMS:

General Motors:  In 1997, GM launched the first Truck Tent as a Genuine GM  Accessory. Since then, Napier has supplier GM with tents for the Chevy & GM pick-up trucks, Pontiac Aztek, Cadillac Escalade, Hummer H2 and Chevy Avalanche.

Ford: In 1999, Ford North America launched a custom Truck Tent in the Genuine Ford Accessory program. Since then, Napier has supplier Ford with Truck Tents for all of their Trucks.

Nissan: In 2001, Nissan US and Canada launched the first custom Nissan Truck Tent in the Genuine Nissan Accessory program.  After the success of the Truck Tents, Nissan added the SUV 81000 tent to the line in 2005.  Recently, Nissan expanded the line to their European division offering the unique tents to the European market.

Toyota Canada: In 2001, Toyota Canada launched the Toyota Truck Tent in the Genuine Toyota Accessory program.  During a spring promotion in 2005 Toyota added the SUV 81000 and 85000 tents to their line of Vehicle Camping Tents.

MOPAR (Jeep): In 2005, MOPAR added the SUV 81000 Tent to the Jeep Accessory line.  In the summer of 2007 and 2008, Jeep Canada featured the SUV Tent in their accessory commerical.  MOPAR has recently started expanding the line to the European market.

Honda: In late 2008, Honda US and Canada launched a custom SUV Tent to the accessory line for the Element, CR-V, Odyssey and Pilot. 

Kia & Mercedes Canada: In spring 2009, Kia Canada and Mercedes Canada launched SUV Tents in their accessory lines.
